The Runway Incursions Course is designed to instruct controllers in areas that reduce the frequency and severity of runway incursions in the National Airspace System (NAS) through: * Discussion of the importance of situational awareness. * Examination of factors that affect situational awareness including distraction and drift. * Review of the purpose and function of the Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT).
