Topics to be covered include inflation, discounting, future value, present value and the calculation of financial ratios such as net present value, benefit to cost ratio, internal rate of return and payback period. Students will learn how to calculate constant, then-year and present value dollars and they will learn the difference between cost effectiveness and cost-benefit business cases. | |||
