| This course provides a cost estimating overview and describes the applicability of cost estimating to the financial decision making process at the FAA. This course also provides participants with an overview of how cost estimates fit into the annual budget, the OMB Exhibit 300 and resource planning documents. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to: Describe the role of cost estimating in the FAA financial decision making process, Identify how and what cost documents are used to make fiscal decisions in the FAA, Use basic cost estimating tools and techniques, Use the cost estimate to populate key decision documents such as the exhibit 300 and resource planning documents. | |||
