| 16 hours of instructor led ground school followed by an 8 hour mission planning exercise and then a two day flight inspection mission itinerary. This training introduces the new hire flight inspection mission SIC to the basics of FAA Flight Inspection on Visual Glide Slope Indicator (VGSI) systems and airport approach lighting. Appropriate portions of the FAA Order 8200.1c and AVN TI 8200.52 will be applied throughout this training as will other pertinent orders and instructions used by the FAA flight inspector. | |||
