The BBP-Program Administrator course includes lecture and hands-on training for four general topics: General Information, Roles and Responsibilities of FAA managers and employees, Program Requirements, and Exposure Control Plan. The General Information and Roles and Responsibilities section focuses on the requirements in the FAA AFS BBP Order. This includes the duties of the AFS managers and employees who conducting aircraft accident investigations and inspections of air ambulance operators. Additionally, the students will learn about the general hazard identification and control measures for BBP control, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), exposure prophylaxsis, Other topics include general BBP program management activities.
