BRIEFING 2008-08-05
This is a presentation given by Mr. Norman Bodek. Norman Bodek has led over 65 industrial study missions to Japan. He discovered and published the works of the truly great Japanese manufacturing geniuses: Shigeo Shingo and Taiichi Ohno, the inventors of the Toyota Production System, now called JIT and lean manufacturing; Yoji Akao, the creator of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and Hoshin Kanri; and Seiichi Nakajima, the originator of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and many others.
