| This course number is to be used to document Refresher EPA Lead Risk Assessor training provided by an EPA accredited training program provider only. Supervisors must determine that employees meet the experience and educational requirements set forth in 40 CFR 745.226(b)(1) prior to requesting this training. This training will recertify employees to conduct risk assessments, prepare written reports, interpret the results of inspections and assessments, identify hazard control strategies, conduct lead sampling, and evaluate the results. Refresher certification requirements are dependent upon the activities performed in the initial certification training. Refer to 40 CFR 745.225 for detailed guidance on refresher training time-frames. Upon completion of this training, employee should maintain the original certification certificate and provide a copy to their Supervisor and/or Training POC to be entered into their eLMS learning history. | |||
