| This course number is to be used to document the hands-on portion of hearing conservation training for employees who may be exposed during their work shift to noise levels at or above 85 dBA as an 8-hr time weighted average (TWA), and their immediate supervisors. At a minimum after receiving hearing conservation training on the uses and types of hearing protection equipment, employees must be able to demonstrate proper selection and usage of hearing protection personal protective equipment.
