Course number is to document hazardous materials transport training that will allow employee to describe and perform regulatory requirements, policies, procedures for identifying, storing, handling, labeling, marking, placarding, packaging, shipping and transporting hazardous materials. DOT requires to the following two conditions to sign a hazardous waste manifest: 1) Testing of each individual (written, oral, by demonstration, or otherwise) to assure training; and 2) Certification by the employer, in a """"record of training"""" kept in the employer's files, that the employee was trained, tested and passed the test. Employee should retain training certificate, provide copy to supervisor and/or training POC for entry to eLMS learning history.
