| This course number is to be used to document fundamentals of industrial hygiene training. This training will allow the employee able to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and recommend controls for chemical , physical and other health hazards in the workspace. Employee will be able to determine appropriate air sampling methods for airborne contaminants and be able to calculate Time Weighted Averages (TWAs) from multiple samples and compare samples to the appropriate Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs). Employees will become familiar with sampling equipment for typical IH sampling. Upon completion of this training, employee should retain a copy of the training certificate and provide a copy to their supervisor and/or training POC so completion can be entered into their eLMS learning history. | |||
