| This is a 4-hour workshop for Pesticide Safety Train the Trainer. Participants will train on and must be able to: Identify pests and their characteristics, Describe the proper methods to apply pesticides; Describe the types of pesticides and their risks and benefits; Describe the health effects, environmental and safety concerns that their use poses; Identify proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); Identify storage and disposal requirements; Understand label information and Safety Data Sheets (SDS); and Complete hands-on exercises demonstrating competency. | |||
