| The three day course provides the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the protection of classified activities, procedures, systems, and secure areas within the COMSEC environment. The course will review COMSEC policy and principles by focusing on standard operating procedures, emergency action plans, and COMSEC equipment operational security doctrine. The course consists of lecture, practical activities, and exercises to give hands-on experience. This course meets the COMSEC three year recurrent training requirement. TARGET AUDIENCE: Air Traffic Organization (ATO) and Regional Operations Personnel assigned as COMSEC Account Manager or Alternate. Security & Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH) Security Specialists who inspect the FAA/COMSEC Functions. | |||
