The Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Training program is a structured 5-week course designed to introduce AJW-L employees to foundational CPI methodologies. By focusing on key principles and tools, this course aims to enhance operational efficiency, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and actively engage employees in the improvement process. Course content: Week 1: Theory of Constraints - Introduction of Theory of Constraints (TOC) focusing on identifying and addressing bottlenecks in processes to improve overall system performance Week 2: Little's Law - Understanding Little's Law and its application in managing process flow and reducing lead times. Week 3: Types of Process Flow - Exploring difference types of process flows and their impact on efficiency and throughout. Week 4: Visual Management Tools - Introduction to visual management tools that aid in monitoring and controlling processes, enhancing communication and transparency. Week 5: Increasing Throughout - Strategies for increasing throughout, including a course review and analysis of case studies to reinforce learning.
