| This course is for employees, who, as part of job assignments, will operate watercraft 65 feet in length for transportation of employees or equipment. This includes FAA-owned, rented, or leased watercraft. Participants will be able to capably demonstrate safe operation of the watercraft specific to their job function using compliant navigation rules/aids; Conduct and document pre-departure checklist and routine repairs; Properly plan a course, identify and control hazards, prepare for adverse weather conditions, understand distress procedures/ communications methods, and understand federal and state certification/license requirements. | |||
