This exam covers the ASII DME Model 1118. Subjects will include standards and tolerances, performance checks, TPRS, certification requirements, TIB contents, DME Principles, equipment familiarization, LRU theory of operation, troubleshooting procedures and alignment procedures.This exam is open book. The student can use FAA Handbooks, Schematics, TIBs, Formula Sheets, Troubleshooting Guides, submitted errata sheets, lab books and personal notes.
