| In this presentation we will discuss the purpose and characteristic of the most common Open Document Format Files, including Microsoft's Open Office XML and XPS, and the Open Document Formant used in LibreOffice. THe differences between these types of files and their older, binary predecessaors will be presented with suggestions to ensure a complete forensic examinatin of the different types. Included will be a discussion of file metadata examination and embedded objects. Of particular importance will be revealing a method of data hiding that exists using these types of files. | |||
