| This course will explore the recent and pending changes in battery transport. International transport by the IATA, DGR and the IMDG will be reviewed, as well as specific additional requirements for domestic US transport per 49 CFR. The course will cover Lithium Metal and Lithium ion, non-spillable acide/alkali, and nickel metal hydride batteris. We will also review the requirements for the transport of batteries for recycling. Appropriate packaging procedures will be demonstrated. | |||
