| This bypass exam 88465002 is designed to act as an equivalency to FAA 42087001 STARS G4 Remote Tower. This Exam consists of a timed written test covering the equipment requirements including general information, system Identification, system Operation, system components, and operation of system software of the Radar Tower Display Subsystem (RTDS) of the STARS G4 Operational Site (SOS). The STARS G4 RTDS utilizes the newest G4 platform of processors and updated networking equipment along with ADS-B and FUSED display mode. Also, included are the Standards and Tolerances, maintenance requirements, certification procedures, fault isolation scenarios, and corrective procedures.This exam is open book.
