| This course is a part of the OSH program. The trainer Refresher course will review the following topics with the Trainers: -Identification and eliminate risks and protection of investigator -Review of all potential hazards at an aircraft accident site -Consider how to manage the various hazards -How to take particular care when approaching the site, e.g. performing site assessment and approaching from upwind, if possible. -Protecting investigator! Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye and breathing protection as required. Review the Hierarchy of Controls; 1. Engineering controls 2. Administrative Controls - Work Practice 3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The AAIS Trainer Refresher course provides qualified AAIS Trainer with the additional refresher training necessary to teach the AAIS User course- Refresher for course FAA20000103. This should be about a two hour session (via MS Teams or Zoom Meeting) and it will provide the training resources and information needed to teach others the User level of AAIS. | |||
