| INACTIVE. This course has been replaced by FAA27200125 Aircraft Certification General Indoctrination. This course is the second in a three-part series of initial indoctrination training. Phase II provides general knowledge and skills unique to working in the AIR environment. Phase II is not available to non-FAA employees. Topics include: Working in the Aircraft Certification Service, AIR Business Processes, Resources and Tools, The Role of the Regulator, Decision Making in an SMS Environment, and AIR Communications. Prerequisites: AIR Indoctrination Phase I (on-line) Audience: Mandatory for all AIR safety critical operational staff as defined in Order 8000.9B. Recommended for safety critical program staff and operational support staff. Employees who have attended 21017 are not required to attend this course.
