Two-day workshop provides a basic understanding of probability and statistics, including the Weibull Distribution; understanding of the Transport Airplane Risk Assessment Methodology (TARAM) analysis and acceptable risk guidelines; and Hands-on experience performing the analysis. Internal Audience: This course is intended for Aircraft Certification Employees. Required (assignment-specific) for engineers, senior engineers, and Continued Operational Safety (COS) program managers who perform numerical transport airplane risk assessments and for COS Technical Advisors and COS Program Managers who review transport airplane risk assessments. Refer to AIR Training Roadmaps/Curriculum for requirements and timeframes. External Audience: This course is available for non-FAA personnel. Recommended for companies who perform the numerical transport airplane risk analysis or provide data to the FAA to do the risk analysis. Prerequisites: None
