| This course, Phase I of IV, is designed for the newly hired aviation safety inspector (Airworthiness). This phase is an orientation that will teach the student the history and organization of the FAA, flight standards, and the Academy. The inspector will be provided a job overview that defines his or her roles and responsibilities. Also included in this course are tools and resources for inspectors, an introduction to Flight Standards Automation Systems, terminology, and an overview of the Federal Aviation Regulations (fars). | |||
