The purpose of this training is to provide instruction and practical application of Safety Management Systems (SMS). Graduates receive the necessary instruction required to design, develop, implement, manage and foster an effective organizational level SMS. Course topics include theory and application of SMS program elements, SMS program developments, safety policies, risk management, hazard identification reporting and tracking, safety assurance, trend analysis techniques, audits, surveys and internal evaluations, safety education and promotion strategies, accident causation and and safety office management techniques.
