| This course replaces version 3, NextGen Advanced Navigation, which was previously delivered as an ATN broadcast closed caption briefing, accessible from the FAA Video-to-You (VOD) network. This course was converted to an eLearning self-study course now available through eLMS. The course covers: GPS and GPS augmentation systems along with the TSOs and policies that implement the equipment; Differences between RNAV and RNP; Enhanced vision/synthetic vision systems; LPV implementation lessons learned; NextGen advanced navigation concepts. Participants will learn about the capabilities inherent within the GPS TSOs and the TSO classes. AUDIENCE: New and experienced FAA Aviation Safety Engineers (ASEs) and Flight Test Pilots involved in navigation systems design, production, and airworthiness LENGTH: 4 hours. | |||
