INACTIVE. The Human Factors Certification Job Aid (HFC Job Aid) is a relational database that ties together the rules, ACs, TSOs, and policies related to flight deck human factors. The primary intended users for the HFC Job Aid include human factors specialists, engineers, and flight test pilots. With the HFC Job Aid, users can find cross-referenced information, starting from a specific rule, a type of flight deck system/component, or a general human factors issue. Also included in the HFC Job Aid is a selection of relevant, scientifically-supported, publicly-available information on human factors issues and recommendations, including paraphrased SAE documents and RTCA documents and standards.
