| This course replaces the Version 3 broadcast, NextGen Advanced Navigation, It introduces advanced navigation topics including GPS and GPS augmentation systems along with the Technical Standard Orders (TSOs) and policies that implement the equipment; differences between Area Navigation (RNAV) and Required Navigational Performance (RNP); enhanced vision/synthetic vision systems; and lessons learned from Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) implementation. Participants will also learn about NextGen advanced navigation concepts and gain an understanding of capabilities referenced in GPS TSOs and their associated classifications Internal Audience: This course is intended for Aircraft Certification Employees.
