This course is designed to explain the basic concepts of aircraft wiring practices. The course provides an overview of the aging wiring history, an update on current FAA guidance, detailed information on AC 43.13-1B, AC 25-16, wire separation, and instructions for continued airworthiness. This course was designed for Flight Standards maintenance and avionics inspectors. Training methods used include informal lecture and videotape. This course is equivalent to the IVT Course 62001, Aircraft Wiring Best Practices. Those who have attended IVT Course 62001 do not need to take this web course. Contains five lessons and seven video segments.
