This training provides the FAA/AVS workforce and impacted industry representatives with the knowledge and tools to accomplish tasks related to aircraft certification, manufacturing, maintenance, and continued airworthiness in accordance with the new safety agreement between the U.S. and the European Community. This training is considered Position Essential for the target audience based on their job duties: (1) AFS maintenance for inspectors assigned to part 145 repair stations that hold EASA certifications. (2) Policy Staff in AFS-300 who develop policy for repair stations that hold or seek to hold EASA certification. Managers and supervisors of target audience personnel are strongly advised to complete this training. For Flight Standards personnel, special emphasis is placed on Lesson 11 - 14 which address the Maintenance Annex Guidance.
