| To provide training to GA AW maintenance inspectors on issuing airworthiness certificates and conducting oversight of certification files. This course will cover current handbook guidance used by GA AW maintenance inspectors regarding standard and special certificates, export approval tags and special flight permits. This course is a prerequisite for the GA AW Maintenance Inspector's Airworthiness Certification Functions (PAW) workshop. In addition, it is strongly recommended that you complete the following eLMS WBT courses prior to this course: (27000029) Introduction to Designee Management for AVS Personnel (2 hours), and (27200145) Overview of Electronic Airworthiness Certification (AWC) Tool (1 hour). | |||
