| The Introduction to Safety Assurance System (SAS) provides an overview of the SAS, building foundational knowledge and awareness and, underlying philosophy. This course serves as an introduction and starting point for all other SAS courses, and is required training for all Flight Standards personnel. It is also required training for other FAA employees requiring access to SAS. Participants who successfully complete this course will be able to describe; the important terms, concepts, automation functions, and business processes of SAS. | |||
