| This training will provide the new hire Airworthiness (AW) Aviation Safety Inspection (ASI) with the necessary skills and knowledge to evaluate an operator's Airworthiness Directives (ADs) compliance. This training will AW ASI with a basic understanding of the purposes of ADs, when ADs are applicable, how ADs develop, interpreting an AD, searching for applicable ADs, how owners and operators comply with ADs, ASI AD oversight responsibilities, determining if owners and operators are in compliance with ADs, and how owners and operators can request an AMOC or additional time to comply. | |||
