| This course will provide all Flight Standards (FS) personnel with an introduction to FAA Order 8900.1, Volume 1, Chapter 3, Section 9 - Collaborative Use of Remote Technology. The benefits and best practices of using remote technology (RT) are covered and different scenarios with video vignettes are presented to illustrate how to use the risk-based decision-making job aid in determining if RT is a viable option and if a task should be accomplished in-person, remotely, or a combination of in-person and remotely. | |||
