| SPAS is a comprehensive analysis and reporting tool that provides access to a variety of aviation safety related databases. Within SPAS, users can access and analyze a wide range of data in critical areas related to flight operations, airworthiness and hazardous materials safety. Students will learn how to use the SPAS menu, how to use the SPAS Query and Browse (Q&B) to search, filter and summarize data, how to use SPAS interactive certificate holder Profiles, how to use the SPAS Home Page to quickly access information in SPAS Q&Bs and Profiles, and how to use the SPAS on-line help feature. Students who complete this course will have the knowledge, skills, and ability to efficiently access and retrieve information in SPAS that is needed to support their risk based oversight decisions. All users who intend to use the modernized SPAS system, including current/active users of the existing SPAS system should take this course. | |||
