BRIEFING 2025-03-04
Provides domestic-based FAA/AVS workforce with the knowledge and tools to accomplish tasks in accordance with the safety agreement between the US and the European Community and knowledge and tools for International Field Office inspectors that perform surveillance and SIS inspections on foreign repair stations in the EU. Required for (1) AFS domestic-based airworthiness inspectors assigned to Part 145 repair stations that hold EASA approval. (2) Policy staff in AFS-300 who develop policy for repair stations that hold or seek to hold EASA approval. Managers and supervisors of target audience personnel are strongly advised to complete this training. This recurrent training is required by the MAG to be completed every two years (or sooner if there are major changes to the MAG) to ensure personnel are aware of current and recent changes to the MAG. This revision to content, on 2/17/26, of the course includes change 10 to the U.S.-EASA MAG.
