| This course supports Aviation Safety Engineers (ASEs) in evaluating applicant-submitted data for compliance with Model-Based Development (MBD) assurance credentials. Course topics include MBD guidance, planning data evaluation, development data evaluation, and interaction between systems and software development. This course requires prior working knowledge of DO-178B and C (or EUROCAE equivalent). Participants must provide their own copies of RTCA DO-178C and DO-331 (or EUROCAE equivalents). This course is optional for eligible non-FAA participants through the AVS Designee Registration System. Internal Audience: This course is intended for Aircraft Certification Employees.
