| The purpose of this course is to provide an in-depth understanding of Head-Up Displays (HUD) and vision systems that integrate with HUD technology. These vision systems include Synthetic Vision System (SVS), Enhanced Vision System (EVS), Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS), and Combined Vision System (CVS). Participants will learn how HUD and these vision systems are evaluated within the FAAs design approval and compliance process, and how this evaluation relates to their role as Aircraft Certification Service (AIR) Aviation Safety Engineers (ASEs). Internal Audience: This course is intended for Aircraft Certification Service Employees. External Audience: This course is available to non-FAA personnel. Prerequisite(s): None. | |||
