INACTIVE 9/30/2012, replaced by FAA27936, Revision 2 dated 7/2012. This course is the first in a three-part series of initial indoctrination training. This web-based course is intended to provide the Aircraft Certification Service's (AIR) employees with an overview of the general knowledge they will require to perform their jobs effectively. Subjects include: AIR's Mission, Vision and Values, Roles and Responsibilities, Regulations and Policy, Type, Production and Airworthiness Certification, Continued Operational Safety Management, International considerations, and Designees and Delegations. Initial training for AIR. Prerequisites: Employees that have attended 21600, 21604 or 21660 are not required to attend this course. Target Audience(s): Mandatory for all AIR safety critical operational staff as defined in Order 8000.93B. Recommended for safety critical program staff and operational support staff.
