Content has been incorporated into the FAA Aviation Accidents Library - 2/10/2009.This course examines a number of in-depth accident case studies and summaries from selected accidents involving large Transport Category Airplanes. The focus of this examination is to highlight precursors to these accidents, provide insight into how these accidents affected rule changes, and ultimately, to apply the lessons learned from these accidents to prevent accidents. Audience: This training is for Aircraft Certification Service (AIR) engineers and flight test pilots, private industry Designated Engineering Representatives (DERS) and Delegated organization (DAS, DOA) staff members, Manufacturing Designees.
