(30200352) FY16 The Interface Between LR/ER Principles and Accountability Board Investigations
BRIEFING 2015-09-30
Management can face numerous challenges when working through an investigation being tracked by the Accountability Board (AB). ""The Interface Between LR/ER Principles and AB Investigations"" will address those complex questions that managers---including investigators, deciding officials, and Accountable Officials---encounter in AB cases. Such questions include: how to determine whether or not a matter meets the Board's scope, how to decide if a formal security investigation or an internal management inquiry is the best method, how to conduct a management inquiry, how to handle AB cases involving contract personnel, how to handle a union's requests for AB documents, and how to resolve those tough credibility cases in which you have two competing versions of truth on a key matter. The ATN broadcast will offer a slide presentation and scenarios for discussion and comment via interactive video and interactive data feedback from the participants. The target audience is FAA managers and Accountability Board POCs. This item provides 2 hours of credit toward FAAs continuing management education (CME) requirement for managers.
