| The Federal Agency Policy and Procedures course is intended to provide supervisors with an overview of the environmental factors affecting agency policy, types of agency policy, the agency policy cyle, and the processes associated with it. Participants learn what they need to know to write, analyze, implement, report, and evaluate agency policy. This course begins with a required self-paced online portion (open for four weeks) that introduces the agency policy environment, the agency policy cyles, best practices in policy processes and procedures, and an introduction of the simulation group activity. A one-week residential session provides a review and analysis of participants agency policy process and a comprehensive simulation where participants learn to apply principles on the skills needed to support agency policy. Both the online and residential portions must be completed to complete the course. | |||
