BRIEFING | 2020-10-29 | ||
This training is focused on the use of video communication platforms, such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, by LER Specialists while litigating in virtual labor arbitration hearings as Agency advocates. The COVID-19 health emergency has required considerable modifications in the way that LER services are provide. This includes a new reality where labor arbitrations are held via virtual communication platforms following current safety standards for all participants. The training is designed to discuss matters related to virtual arbitration hearings, such as the preparation and presentation of witnesses; handling of caucuses or side-bars; the presentation and handling of exhibits; and the handling of cross examination of witnesses, among other topics. | |||
