| This course provides training for NAS personnel responsible for ensuring operation of the RCL FTI MW system at their facilities. The course is 32 hours of Academy lecture and 16 hours of Academy lab work. Subjects include legacy equipment power plant, new equipment overview, theory of operation for DC-DC Power Converter, the Westronic WS1800 Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), the Remote Monitoring System (RMS), and anoverview of the Bandwidth Manager (BWM) FAA 48418001. NOTE: Students should bring their Maintenance Data Terminal (MDT) with serial cable adaptor to class. For information on exams for this course, see the Special Instructions in FIST. | |||
