This course is directed to the airspace specialist (ARP Employee) and any ARP personnel who will be working within the FAAs Internet Obstruction Evaluation/Airport Airspace Analysis (iOE/AAA) system. Completion of the course will provide you with a basic understanding of processing rule making and non-rule making actions associated with obstruction evaluation and airport airspace analysis.- Using references and in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), FAA Orders, Advisory Circulars (ACs), policy guidance, and the course text, you will be able to: 1. Utilize the iOE/AAA system to perform airspace analysis job tasks 2. Process, as a lead, Non-rule making Airport (NRA) cases and Part 157 cases 3. Work with other ARP employees and FAA LOBs to make determinations on these types of cases 4. Evaluate cases for aeronautical effect on Airport Design surfaces 5. Submit division responses for Obstruction Evaluation (OE) and NAVAID cases 6. Provide guidance to airport sponsors and proponents on these types of cases
