| This is the live, one-day custom course for offices who ask for special plain language training about the documents they use. The course generally runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or other time you request. It is for all FAA staff and contractors who communicate, write or review printed and website material. The course takes the specific documents you use each day and shows your staff how to turn them into plain language. We'll review Federal Plain Language Law and the Federal Plain Language Guidelines. We'll use the FAA Plain Language Toolkit to learn plain language skills using sample documents from your office. It sounds like a horrible way to spend a day, but this course is set up to be an intense recreational experience. You'll have fun and learn a new skill that wil limprove your daily life and that of your customers and co-workers. | |||
