This course is for Technical Operations Technicians on the Micro-EARTS Remote Display. The course is 24 hours Field Lecture and 16 hours Field Laboratory. The lecture includes an introduction to the MEARTS, Principles and Modes of Operation, Hardware Interfaces, Inputs/Outputs, System Documentation, RCW Hardware, Display Presentation, Keyboard Entries, RCW Software Structure and Scripts, Maintenance Routines, Certification, and Removal and Replacement. Lab subjects includes System Introduction and Familiarization, X-Windows/Solaris and Script Usage, RCW Maintenance and Certification Routines, and RCW LRU Removal, Replacement and Configuration.
