This refresher briefing is intended for Airway Transportation System Specialists (ATSS) and engineering personnel who have already completed FAA Course 49400092; AGMGS Operations and Maintenance Training at the 6 ARTCC's (ZDC, ZDV, ZFW, ZJX,ZKC, and ZLC). Refresher training includes updates from AGMGS system version 1.12. Topics include: Air to Ground Media Gateway System (AGMGS) monitoring responsibilities, system overview, AGMGS technical documentation/safety precautions, hardware racks, Air-to-Ground Media Gateway (AGMG) Subsystem/Hardware, Media Gateway Management System (MGMS) Subsystem/Hardware, MGMS operations, monitoring and controlling using Network Management System (NMS)/Zabbix, performing the NMS/Zabbix navigational procedures, and general troubleshooting concepts.
