| This technical workshop provides students with knowledge and information on the National Airspace System (NAS) including future NextGen technologies. Students will gain a basic understanding of FAA Orders 6000.15 and 6000.30 as they pertain to the general maintenance philosophy, policy, procedures, and requirements for managing and maintaining the NAS. Goal of this workshop is to comprehend the potential impacts of providing (or loss of) critical NAS services from an FAA operational perspective. The NAS-101 Technical Workshop training course consists of four (4) lessons, which are: Lesson 1 FAA History and National Airspace System Overview; Lesson 2 NAS Domains; Lesson 3 FAA Orders 6000.30 and 6000.15; Lesson 4 NAS Future Technologies and Operational Environment. | |||
