| This course is used as annual refresher training for each Airway Transportation System Specialist (ATSS) prior to local exercises or an aircraft accident response. This course will be based on the provisions of JO 8020.16, Chapter 9, Section 3 and applicable paragraphs of 6000.15 and J0 6040.15. The goals of this refresher training are to insure the specialists maintain knowledge for insuring the continued safe operation of the NAS following an aircraft accident. To investigate potentially involved facilities in a timely manner, restore operation of facilities removed from service in a timely manner, and provide appropriate accident-related facility documentation to appropriate authorities. | |||
