| This course is required for the FAA Airport Certification Safety Inspector (ACSI) credentialing process and for those personnel responsible for the certification of airports and enforcement of Title 14 CFR Part 139. Classroom subjects to be covered are: the issuance of airport operating certificates, review of airport certification manuals and related plans, identification and review of the many airport standards required by regulation, airport inspection procedures and techniques to evaluate regulatory compliance, identifying and recording potential regulatory violations and the preparation of enforcement actions and related correspondence. The class includes exercises, workshops and field trips which reinforce with hands-on training, the classroom instruction. | |||
