| This course focuses on personnel assigned to work in the network enterprise management center (NEMC) and the wide area augmentation system (WAAS) service control centers (SOC). This course covers the requirements for reporting interruptions to facilities and services in the nas in the NEMC/WAAS SOC environment. The course includes the standard definitions, criteria, procedures and terminology for reporting interruptions. Topics include defining scheduled and unscheduled interruptions, log entries for full interruptions (FI), reduced facility/service (RS) interruptions, reduced system equipment (RE) interruptions, and informational (IN) interruptions, identifying and applying the correct supplemental and cause codes, and analyzing interruption scenarios and determining the proper code combination. Two exams together make up the entire course. | |||
