BB-WBT 2024-10-04
This LPGBS workshop equips engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders with some of the knowledge and practical skills needed to design, evaluate, and implement Lightning Protection, Grounding, Bonding, and Surge Protection systems for critical facilities in the NAS. From understanding project roles and unique FAA standards to applying real-world solutions for power distribution systems and sensitive electronic equipment areas, this class bridges theory with hands-on application. Through case studies, installation best practices, and a capstone practice scenario, participants will gain the confidence to prevent unwanted energy events, protect mission-critical infrastructure, and ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
