Saab Sensis Corporation course provides training for the Technical Operations Technicians (ATSS) on the purpose and functions of the ASSC equipment, which consist of hardware supporting a multilateration system, remote maintenance system, and tower display equipment. Lecture subject includes ASSC overview, system configuration, and detailed description of ASSC components. Lecture also includes system operations and multilateration, remote monitoring, tower displays, processing subsystems, maintenance and troubleshooting. Laboratory subjects include hands-on learning and detailed component/system troubleshooting, system performance analysis, fault analysis, LRU removal and replacement, maintenance and troubleshooting. Exams in this course will be administered on both lectures material and lab procedures.
