| Provide information for the basic tasks associated with operating the HOST Computer Complex through briefings and hands on sessions. ERAM testing will require numerous HOST shutdowns and start ups that will require proficiency in those tasks to maintain the integrity of the NAS System. Also, the tasks will include basic operations of the NAS System, NAS Standby, VM, MVS and the HMC. Problem solving techniques for each system will also be presented. Examples of the some of the tasks to be presented are: NAS IPL, NAS System Shutdown, NASSTBY under VM, Restoring the NAS System disks, and MVS operations. | |||
